Two more Christmas Cards F

I have the day off from work and thought I would spend it productively by making more cards.  These are for two of my other grandchildren.  Just 3 more to go LOL.  I then have to start on their parents cards - Oh joy!

Again I used another of Molly Blooms stamps, I have bought these stamps specifically for my grankiddies - love these for kiddies cards.  I coloured them using my polys and used flower soft for the snow.  That's it all done!

Anyway now for the pics and I hope you like them as much as I do.......

Thanks for popping in and please please call again.

My bubba's Christmas cards - F

Well tonight I have managed to put together my twin grandchildren cards.  They will be 2 a week before Xmas so will need to get on with birthday cards also. Plus I have another 5 grandchildren to make for.. phew!

Not much to say about these cards except the images are Molly Bloom stamps colored using my polys, white flower soft and gold glamour dust.  Because the boy is standing in snow so for the little angel I made a cloud using the white and glitter.  Of course I used alphabet stamps for the names.

Well that's it for tonight and i do hope you come back and see me.

Another so called quick and easy card!!! - F

As the previous post I stated easy well again it took me ages to get this one stamped.  I have an awful lots of white card left over to use as matting lol.

This stamp is also Indigoblu (just love them) and I used sepia, terracotta and coffee archival inks to give the image a tonal effect.  Once I finally got it stamped how I wanted it - alot of time passed let me tell you! - I randomly stuck glamour dust over the tree.  Voila all done!

Thanks for visiting me and hope to see you again real soon

Plain Kraft Card for Xmas - F

We all like to make our own Christmas cards but we don't want to spend ages getting them done when there are so many needing to be put together.  I am spending as little time as possible but not throwing them together if you know what I mean.

For this one I used an Indigoblu stamp of hanging baubles and the sentiment came from another set of Indigoblu stamps (I think!)  I used sepia ink pad, pencils to colour the little bits that were showing ie the berries and some leaves/scrolls.  I finished it off with gold glamour dust on the baubles and snowflakes.

See how easy it sounds - took me ages to get the stamping just right lol.

Nice of you to visit and hope you come again

Another good friend and another card...F

Another friend of mine has helped me out alot recently so another card is needed to show her my appreciation.  This time I used a rose stamp from Lost Coast Designs onto a Kraft card.  I coloured and shaded the image using my polychromo pencils.  I just love them to bits.  The sentiment is from a die'sire sentiments.  I then sprayed the entire card using spray and shine.  Certainly made the kraft card look different, nut a nice different if you know what I mean.  Anyway look for yourself.......

Thats it for now and thanks for dropping by

Card for a friend - F

Evening all.....

I recenly bought a set of 60 polychromos and liked them so bought another 30.  Now I already own prismas and I now cannot make up my mind as to which I prefer.  Just thought I would share that snippet of useless information lol.

I needed to make a card for a friend just because she is a friend - no other reason.

I stamped using one of my Elusive images using coffee Archival ink and coloured using my polys.  I used 5 different reds for the overall effect, brown for the darker areas (not too much tho)  I used 3 different greens and a brown for the leaves and pods. The ribbon came from my stash.  The sentiment came from an Indigoblu sentiment set I found unused at the bottom of one of my draws lol.  We all do it - admit it!

Anyway thats it for tonight and I do hope you enjoyed your visit today.

Two more cards to post - F

A birthday card using one of fave stamps from the Dolly Mama's range from Stamps Happen - this is for my birthday stash.  Coloured using Docraft pens.

Another Christmas card to add to my pile - used my fave Tim Holtz blueprints, snowman this time.  I coloured using pan pastels and docraft pens.  I stamped repeatedly using sentiment stamp for the background.

Time for a new challenge - F

Hi all

Well as you will all know now I am one of the lucky DT on ANYTHING BUT A CARD challenge blog.  Feel chuffed to be picked.

It is week 2 of Challenge 40

I chose to be challenged and my project incorporates autumn and spring - I think it works and I hope you think so too.

I used a cheap birdhouse from the pound shop, took it apart so working with it was easier.  I painted part gold and the other spring green. I stamped and clear embossed a bare tree on the back, used a sponge to dab TH DI, red, orange and yellow randomly to depict the autumn leaves. I also stamped and clear embossed flowers, butterflies and dragonflies all round and on top of the birdhouse.  I then stuck moss randomly in the same colours using dylusions sprays.  Trouble is the stamps beneath are now not visible lol.  I used a wooden frame and backing to stamp a butterfly, clear embossed also.  I used inka gold to slightly colour it.  The frame was painted in the green, clear embossed and inka gold over the top.  I then put the birhouse back together.

I now must apologise for the copious amounts of pictures - just couldn't make my mind up on this one lol.

Thank you for taking th etime to drop by and I do hope you choose to pop on over to ANYTHING BUT A CARD and join in with this fun challenge

Three cards to post....F

Instead of writing up three separate posts I am going to combine them in one.  I am trying to get alot of Christmas cards done and dusted way before the holiday arrives.  Last year I couldn be bothered but am determined this year.  I also made a card for a friend as a thank you for all she does for me.  I have many friends that do alot for me so this is a first of many lol.

First up is a Christmas card of a robin.  I know I have posted a previous card using my polys for the first time and this one is the second attempt which I am much more happy with.

I stamped the card using heartfelt creations and coloured it again with my polys. Simple project

Next up is the card for a friend.  I cant remember the stamps set I used but I just love the frame and roses.  Again I used my polys and then alot of glossy accents on the roses to give them depth.

Apologise the amount of pics on the last one - trying to capture the depth of flowers.

Lastly another of my fave stamps which I have used a few times but just absolutely love it.  It is the blueprint Christmas tree.  I heat embossed the image and filled in the star using the gold embossing powder.  This time I used pan pastels for the colouring and the sentiment has been stamped all over - the one at the top is not obscured so can be read lol.

There you go all three posted and I do hope you enjoyed your visit this time and hope to see you again real soon.
