Punkette Prue - Jen Leeflang

Hi all am back again

I felt like colouring up this cutie.  She can be found here, Digistamps4Joy.She is such fun and love that hair.. a dream.  I coloured her using my prismas and used grey memento ink around the edges.  I used a black die cut that I had kicking around in my bulging draw so that came in handy however when I had finished the black lace bow with parts of ostrich feathers it can barely be seen lol.  The ostrich feather boa I bought from a charity shop years ago and I find it handy to add luxury and fun to a card.  Fiddly to tie etc.....lol.The lace came from my stash.  The sentiment is from a new rubber stamp set I have just purchased from Personal Expressions.  The backing paper comes from Bearly Mine.  That particular paper has proved appropriate for all my rock chick cards.  I just love em!  The inside compliments the front as per...

I apologise for the amount of pics but I wanted you to see the bow and feathers as quite difficult to see being black... so sorry for pic overload.

Romance Annie, Emma & Grace - SBS

Evening everyone

I know I have been quiet for a coupleof days and the only excuse is that I have been busy on this project and worshipping the sun but only for a little while.

This project consists of three of SBS's Steampunk girlies.  It is really sparse on embellishments but after looking at loads of options I felt in the end it is fine just the way it is.  I coloured the images using my prisma pencils and the sentiment is by Christy Croll.  I used Tim Holtz Coredinations papers and embossing folder.  I used a steampunk stamp around the image using grey memento.  Everything has been distressed as you can see.  I love distressing or is it de-stressing.. well actually a bit of both LOL.

PS did you notice the stock sentence of  '' the inside compliments the front'' is absent LOL

Hi all

Kenny K Yayyyy.... perfect for a mans card to get the blood pressure raised (well the guys in the office did lol) I am sure you are all familiar with his artistry.  He is brilliant.
Okay on to the details of my creation.  As above the delightful Allura Von D has been coloured up using copics, prisma and promarkers.  The backing papers are from Raspberry Road.  The sentiment created on my computer and the gems from my stash.  The inside compliments the front as usual.

Springtime - Krista Smith

Happy Monday lol as if Monday is everyones fav day of the week ... NOT mine anyhow.

This will be a brief post as I have crafting to get on with lol.  Just thought I would post this one before I get right back at it.  I coloured up Springtime last night and what a joy she is to bring to life.  I used papers from Raspberry Road (theres a surprise!) pearl gems and ribbons from my stash.  The flowers are from Mulberry Crafts and WOC.  The sentiment is a rubber stamp from amongst many other things I have forgotten about!

The inside compliments the fron, well near enough lol.

Thats it from me for now.... Hope you like this one and also hope she gives you a glimpse of sunshine and brings a smile to yourself.

Kanban - Tres Chic

Good afternoon one and all

And what beatiful weather today and here I am indoors crafting lol....well what else could I be doing? housework NAH!

I stamped up this image on friday, coloured it and splashed all over with glitter.  However it has been sitting on my table since waiting patiently for me to do something with it lol.  I want all white but just couldn't get it together for some reason. I became really determined today as there are other cards I want to get on with.  Always jumping ahead of myself.. NOT GOOD, makes me impatient for finished items lol.

Any I used two embossing folders for the back ground and used spellbinders ribbon banner for the sentiment threaded with ribbon of course lol.  Then I discovered I did not have any white flowers so I had to go with cream but I think that works okay.  By the way the flowers are from WOC as usual.  I used mega amount of pearl sprays with the flowers.  And of course not forgetting the bow I made.  I glittered the edges of the embossed/scalloped edges and also on the backing to the frame etc.  Loads of glitter.. You should see the black rug under my chair... oops looks like I'll be doing the housework afterall LOL.  The inside as always compliments the front.

I will be entering this creation into the following challenges

The sweet shop - Faux ruffles (dress)
Stamp, scrap and doodle - Flowers
Anyway that is it for me for the moment

Helping Hand - Prairie Fairy

This is my second posting of the day and this time it is as Guest Designer for Prairie Fairy for this coming fortnights challenge.  The image I coloured using copics and prisma pencils.  The background is by Raspberry Road.  The dragonfly is a Memory Box die.. isn't he cute.  All the leaves are from spellbinders and the flowers are a sizzix die.  I used glossy accents on all the die cuts either spotted on the embossed flourishes or completely covering the leaves etc.  The oearls on the flowers and dragonfly are from my never ending stash LOL.  The inside is decorated to compliment the front as usual.

You and Me - TiddlyInks

I have put this card together for the purpose of the Poodles Parlour challenge of MONOCHROMATIC,  I am one of the new DT's over there and I am loving every minute of it.

This fortnightly challenge is being sponsored by The Stamping Boutique.  Great stamps for little money.  Check it out for yourselves.  We are also sponsered  by The Digi Garden for every challenge. Each of the Top 3 win three Digi Garden images of their choice and each of the Poodles Picks win two Digi Garden images of their choice! Apart from having lots of fun creating your monchromatic projects there are lots of ways to win.  We, over at Poodles Parlour, are looking forward to seeing your entries.

This actual challenge was quite handy for me as I have a couple of friends getting married in June and they are verging on the GOTH side so black and grey seemed appropriate. Killed 2 birds with 1 stone so to speak.  As already stated the image is from the talented Christy Croll and actually one of my favs.I coloured it up using my ever faithful prismas. I used spellbinders leaves, grommet die and the roses are from WOC as usual.  The papers are from Raspberry Road.  I do love their collections.  I think I may have used a little too much glitter and now wish I had left the leaves black.. but hey ho too late now it has been done LOL.

Anyway thanks for peeking at least and it would be great if you could leave a comment or two as I love to read others opinions on my work...as long as it not rude LOL

Kanban Lady

Hello everyone

Seems like an absolute age since I posted.  It isn't because of lack of creative juices. The reason being I have been making a card for Prairie Fairy as Guest designer and it does not go live until tomorrow so that one will not be posted yet.  I have made a card for fun though and I think I love it.  I have turned my hand back to actually stamping an image and here it is... by Kanban, from the Jasper collection.  I coloured up the image with my prisma pencils and I am hoping it looks vintagy enough LOL.  The papers are random vintage freebies from the net and have been placed/thrown onto Tim Holtz Coordinations card.  The card has been torn and distressed all over including the image where I rubbed away some of the surface.  In fact everything is heavily distressed.  Even the handmade roses have been squashed and pulled about.  The webbed ribbon and vine ribbon are from my stash as are the marabou feathers. I cannot remember where the sentiment is from.. SORRY.

Anyway as you can see the inside is as tatty as the outside .....

Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

And I mean a really big Yayyyyy on this occasion.  I have been headhunted to be part of a Design Team by Colleen Holmes, the Magazine owner and publisher of 'Through the Craftroom Door' and the Owner and Creater of Outlawz.  I was offered this post last night and it took me all of hmmmm let me see... at long as 10 seconds to accept LOL.  I am so excited at having this opportunity.  As from June 1st my little pinkies will be rushed of my hands busy creating for this wonderful team.  They are so friendly and helpful and they have made me feel as part of the family already.....

Oooooh I am DT for two wonderful Challenge groups now.. will I have time for my day job... of course I will.  Got to say that in case someone from work stumbles across my blog LOL.

Anyway that is me outta of here for a while..

Listening to the birds - Darcy's Diaries

Good afternoon all

Today I am posting a card which could be used for just about any occasion.  The image is one of those sitting in a huge pile that screams out of me every single day..... USE ME before you buy more! LOL.  So today I listened to those voices (you know the ones that no one else ever hears) and got on with the task in hand.  So here she is 'Listening to the birds', just as I had listened to the voices!

I coloured her up using promarkers, copics and prisma pencils.  I know what a mixture but it kind of matches the mixed voices.. yes they are still calling. I am obviously too slow at reducing the pile. Can't a crafter have a break lol.....

The backing papers are from Raspberry Road.  The flowers are from WOC as usual.  All three ribbons are from my stash.  The corner dies are from Whimsy and the leaves are spellbinders as are the oval frame and the square frames for the letters. I created the sentiment in word.  The inside compliments the front of the card as per usual.

Thats it for me now... who knows I may make it back later......Hmmmmmmmm!

Alonzo's Kitchen - Cuddly Buddly

Well here I am again.  I had to make a card for my younger son who is believe it not he is a messy chef.  Actually all three of my babies are chefs, and guess what i have only had one meal cooked for me LOL.  Just as well as all of them are messy in the kitchen.  I have seen it believe me!

I found this image on Cuddly Buddly and thought he was appropriate.  Mind you I added all the mess.  Well he couldn't stay clean, coul;d he? (not believable)  LOL.  the backing papers are from Raspberry Road, Happy Kitchen, again appropriate for this card. The guys trousers were plain but my son loved his cow print trousers the best so I therefore made them cow print.  Well you know it makes sense LOL.

The sentiment I created on word and the frames are spellbinders.  What I like about this card not too much to describe on it lol.  The inside compliments the front (without the mess LOL)
